DESIGN

This year’s student degree projects are all situated in Chester. Their propositions are diverse in nature ranging from the design of a temporary exhibition raising awareness of animal extinction to the contemporary re-purposing of existing buildings and structures.

Spatial, material and experiential qualities have been explored by each student within their design projects to create a broad array of imaginative new places and spaces within the city.

Embedded into studio practice is the development of representational skills to enable effective communication of the students’ design projects as can be seen in their exhibition work.
