Welcome to an exhibition of four AA2A artist who have spent the last year working with the Department of Art and Design at the University of Chester. The AA2A project provides placements for visual artists and designer-makers in Higher and Further Education institutions across England.
Working with staff and students from the department, the artists have informed and mentored students from their own individual fine art practices. This cooperative exchange has allowed ideas and techniques to flow in both directions, exposing students to differing perspectives of artistic practice and allowing the artists to explore other territories or boundaries from their normal practices. The artists involved are;
